A shattering vocalist from Atlanta, Georgia, with degrees in Sociology and Music. Slater's a former Drum Major of the world-renowned Florida A&M University's Marching 100, with the ability to play various instruments, including piano and saxophone, yet he chooses to soothe our minds with a voice tinged with a distinct flavor. Slater has sung background vocals for various performing artists, written and co produced a music video, serves as the lead choreographer for The Chapter, and is now one of America's most marketable and remarkable talents in the industry. With musical influences as broad as Al Green, Sam Cooke, and Earth, Wind, & Fire. Slater has managed to portray an array of talents both on the stage and in the studio. Slater's alto voice and electrifying presence on stage makes him reminiscent of classic soul crooners such as Marvin Gaye or Smokey Robinson.

Slater is currently touring with The Universal Soul Circus.
